Pause, Breathe, Reset: Join in mindful meditation in May!
Faculty and staff are invited to register for a free Spring Mindfulness Series: Practicing Presence hosted byÌýWorkWell. The virtual mindfulness series runs from May 5 through May 29. The mediation sessions are focused on evidence‑based practices to help reduce stress, prevent burnout, and build focus and resilience. Each 45-minute session begins with a brief overview of the topic, followed by guided practice to help deepen participants’ mindfulness. Participants will build upon foundational meditation skills while exploring more advanced techniques and tools to build emotional regulation and sustained attention.Ìý
Mindfulness Meditation covers themes such as mindful awareness, self-compassion, and stress response management. You can attend individual sessions or participate in the entire series. This mindfulness meditation series is ideal for participants who have completed an introductory meditation course and want to strengthen their practice.Ìý

Facilitator: Kim Stephens, M.S, SLP, M.Ac, Dipl.Ac is a Nationally Certified Acupuncturist/Mindfulness Educator. Kim has worked in healthcare and integrative medicine for over 25 years. She is passionate about helping others find emotional and physical well-being through evidence-based practices such as acupuncture, Chinese medicine, and mindfulness meditation.Ìý
