- Assistant Director of Professional Development
Hailey serves as the Assistant Director of Professional Development at the Graduate School, where she develops, implements, and assesses programs that support graduate student success, professional growth, and community building. She leads several signature initiatives, including the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Training & Competition, the Graduate Peer Mentoring Program, Grad+ Writing Support, and the Sloan Scholars Program. Her work also includes advancing inclusive mentoring practices, creating opportunities for graduate students to build meaningful connections, and collaborating with campus partners to strengthen the resources and support available to graduate students throughout their academic journeys.
Hailey is a Colorado native and received her BA in Journalism & Mass Communication and Psychology from the University of Iowa. Hailey is passionate about working in higher education and being a reliable resource for students. Outside of work you can find Hailey hiking, camping or skiing in the mountains with her husband and sons.
