This course focuses on analyzing the growth of the "Made in Italy" brand, starting from its establishment in the 1950s and leading up to today's Italian companies' global success. Students will examine the language of business and marketing strategies in the fashion, food, wine, leather, design, and art sectors. Taught in Italian
In this course you will improve your ability to understand, summarize and analyze a variety of Italian texts with a sustainability theme. The course looks at Italian initiatives such as the Italian Slow Food movement and the Green Heroes. We also read Italian short stories about the natural world, excerpts from modern and contemporary environmentally conscious literature, and blogs from individuals committed to sustainability. You will create a personal sustainable action plan in Italian.
