Avery is president emerita of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, having served in the leadership role there from 2008 to 2015. Prior to that she was on the faculty of the Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØ from 1982 to 2008, most recently holding the academic rank of professor of electrical and computer engineering.
Thad Sauvain (ChemEngr’91) credits his own time at Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder, where he earned a BS in chemical engineering, with helping him thrive both as an engineer and as a LGBTQ+ individual.- Aoife Henry (PhDElEngr‘24) is leading Zentus, a startup she founded that addresses a critical challenge in the energy sector: how to prevent costly equipment failures that can bring wind and solar farms offline without warning.

Recognized for building enduring enterprise value, Stelzer brings over 25 years of global operations and technical leadership experience spanning R&D, product, data analytics, manufacturing and technical sales across the energy and technology sectors.
Heath Briggs, co-chair of Greenberg Traurig’s Global Patents and Innovation Strategies Group, is a chemical engineer, a registered patent attorney and has more than 19 years of patent prosecution experience and 10 years of AIA trial experience.
Chip Bollendonk graduated from Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder in 2017 with his BS and MS degrees in mechanical engineering and a minor in leadership. He works at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP) at Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder, where he designs and builds spaceflight instruments to enable cutting-edge space, earth and climate science.
Adrianne Lewallen is a systems engineer lead at Lockheed Martin, where she oversees the architecture, integration and verification of advanced aerospace and defense systems. She earned her master’s degree in engineering management and MBA from the University of Colorado Boulder.
Deanna Campos-Miller is a graduate of the Âé¶¹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØ, where she received degrees in both journalism and Spanish.
