He was awarded the Ginsberg Family Award for Leadership, Service and Scholarship for his tenure as the vice president of the Wisconsin Union, where he led the creation of spaces for multicultural Greek student organizations.&nbsp;</span></p><p dir="ltr"><span>After graduating, Rao worked as an analysis-led design engineer at Cummins Inc., conducting computational physics analysis and design efforts on natural gas and design engines. In 2022, he started his master’s degree in mechanical engineering at 鶹ѰBoulder, where he conducted research into nuclear power in future power grids under Bri-Mathias Hodge at the Renewable and Sustainable Energy Institute. During his master’s, he was awarded the American Society of Mechanical Engineers's Engineering4Change Fellowship, and he also founded and currently serves as an advisor to AAEIO, a professional development organization for students of South Asian and international origin at the Campos Student Center.</span></p><p dir="ltr"><span>Rao worked as a researcher at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory after graduation, where he focused on resource adequacy, natural gas systems and electricity markets research efforts. Heath has represented several entities in connection with over 120 inter partes review proceedings, including representing companies such as Samsung, Limelight Networks, B. Braun, Kia Motors, Schlumberger and SK Hynix. Briggs’s AIA experience spans a wide variety of technologies, with significant experience in proceedings involving patents to LEDs, computer software &amp; telecommunications, medical devices, complex material systems and chemical processing. Since 2020, Patexia has ranked Briggs as one of the most active IPR attorneys in the country (Top 100). In 2019, Patexia ranked him 29th out of the Top 100 Best Performing IPR/AIA Trial Attorneys (representing petitioners or patent owners).</span></p><p dir="ltr"><span>Outside of the new post-grant review processes, Briggs has worked on nearly 20 U.S. patent reexaminations (both inter partes and ex parte) and more than 50 European opposition proceedings for his clients.</span></p><p dir="ltr"><span>Since 2005, Briggs has served as an adjunct professor at 鶹ѰBoulder, where he teaches engineering students a self-designed course on intellectual property law. Lewallen also serves on the Industry Advisory Council for the Engineering Management Program, providing strategic guidance and curriculum input. Since graduating, she has remained deeply involved with the college as a mentor for senior design projects, a volunteer speaker for alumni events and a donor supporting scholarships and research. By shifting apparel production closer to the consumer, unspun aligns speed, sustainability and scalability in a single manufacturing platform. The company’s north star is creating a 1% reduction in global human carbon emission.</span></p><p dir="ltr"><span>Martin graduated from the 鶹Ѱ in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering. During his undergraduate years, he founded his first company, Airworx, focused on robotic camera motion systems and early drone-based video production—an experience that first sparked his interest in entrepreneurship. Shortly after graduating, Martin joined co-founders Beth Esponnette and Walden Lam to build the next generation of local manufacturing for textiles.</span></p><p dir="ltr"><span>One year after participating in 鶹ѰBoulder’s mechanical engineering capstone program himself as an undergrad, Martin and his co-founders sponsored their own student project to build an early unspun prototype. That prototype helped unspun secure its first National Science Foundation development grant, followed by the company’s first venture investment from hardware accelerator HAX. unspun has since gone on to raise over $70 million in additional funding and is headquartered in Emeryville, California.</span></p><p dir="ltr"><span>Martin was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2021—the same year unspun was recognized by Time Magazine’s Best Inventions and Fast Company’s World Changing Ideas. unspun has also been featured by leading global media and industry organizations for its impact on sustainability, advanced manufacturing, and the future of apparel.</span></p><p dir="ltr"><span>Martin remains actively engaged with 鶹ѰBoulder, where he regularly guest lectures and participates in alumni programming. He has over 30 years’ experience working in small and medium molecule syntheses for both Merck and Eli Lilly. Seibert has been responsible for the process development and optimization of many early and late-phase products and led the technology transfer, validation and launch of several marketed compounds.&nbsp;</span></p><p dir="ltr"><span>Seibert has also led initiatives for developing enhanced regulatory filings in support of the ICH QbD efforts, driving efficiency and consistency in marketed compound regulatory filings worldwide. Most recently, Seibert led the chemistry and engineering teams responsible for the process development and commercialization of Eli Lilly’s Zepbound/Mounjaro. Seibert led the expert teams with the conception and implementation of a strategy for synthesizing synthetic peptides using a novel manufacturing platform employing both continuous manufacturing and real-time release approaches. She is the author or co-author of over 110 peer-reviewed articles and reports.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p><p dir="ltr"><span>Avery is president emerita of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, having served in the leadership role there from 2008 to 2015.&nbsp;Prior to that she was on the faculty of the 鶹Ѱ from 1982 to 2008, most recently holding the academic rank of professor of electrical and computer engineering. She served as the director of the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences, where she facilitated new interdisciplinary research efforts spanning the geosciences and incorporating social and biological sciences. From 2004 to 2007, she served in interim positions as vice chancellor for research and dean of the graduate school, as well as provost and executive vice chancellor for academic affairs.&nbsp;</span></p><p dir="ltr"><span>Avery received her Bachelor of Science degree in physics in 1972 from Michigan State University and a doctorate in atmospheric science in 1978 from the University of Illinois.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p><p dir="ltr"><span>Avery has given scientific presentations to a wide variety of lay and professional audiences.
