Sharon E. Anderson serves as Director of Undergraduate Research. She is responsible for Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØEngineering's comprehensive offering of undergraduate research programs, including Fundamentals of Undergraduate Research (FUTURE); Discover Learning Apprenticeship (DLA), and Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØSummer Program for Undergraduate Research (Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØSPUR).Ìý

Sharon also oversees the Internship-for-Credit program, which allows Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØEngineering students to receive either free elective or technical elective credit for participating in a paid internship experience in industry.

Sharon earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Education from the Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØ, with many family members who are also Forever Buffs. She has worked at Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØEngineering for nearly two decades in research and internship programs, student advisory boards, and graduate student advising. Sharon is a strong advocate for career readiness and works toÌýinstill a sense of pride and professionalism in the students who participate in undergraduate research and internship-for-credit programs
