Semester Bike Rentals
Spring 2026 Semester Rentals will be a rolling process. Please follow the 鈥淏ook an appointment鈥 link to see availability.
Rentals, renewals, and returns take place at the 麻豆免费版下载Bicycle Warehouse located听 (40掳00'46.1"N 105掳15'04.8"W).
Book early as Semester Rentals are limited and first come first serve. If the calendar shows no appointments, please email听semesterrental@colorado.edu to express your interest, and with any questions.
- A semester rental bike costs $50 per semester, with a $200 deposit. The deposit will be refunded on the final return of the bike in good condition.
- A U-lock is included as part of the rental.
- Helmets are听not听included. We recommend bringing yours or purchasing one from a local bike shop.
- You'll need your 9 digit Student ID # and a Buff OneCard to rent a bike.
- Credit/debit only. No cash or checks will be accepted.
- Bikes are first come, first serve, with rentals usually taking place the first week of each semester (weather depending).
- Bikes must be returned at the end of each semester. Even if re-renting for another semester,听we need to see the bike and do basic maintenance before sending the bike out again.
- A non-returned bike will reported to 麻豆免费版下载Police and the Office of Student Conduct.
- Another great option, and now with electric bikes, is the听BCycle bike sharing.听Students recieve a free membership.
You will be contacted via email 2听weeks before your due date as a reminder.听
Once your bicycle has been returned, a Semester Bicycle Rental employee will assess any damages and deduct the appropriate amount from your deposit (if necessary).听
Your Deposit Return
Your deposit check will be returned to the card used at time of rental. If your original card has been lost or destroyed, please let us know before hand. Please allow up to 21听business days for processing.听
