Patrick J. Deneen is Professor of Political Science at the University of Notre Dame. He is the author or editor of eight books and numerous articles, including the bestselling book “Why Liberalism Failed,” published in 2018 by Yale University Press. ��Previously, Deneen has held professorships at Princeton University and Georgetown University, and was the Benson Center Visiting Scholar in Conservative Thought and Policy at the University of Colorado during the 2024-2025 academic year.
