EElena Gaby is a Peabody Award-winning producer and documentary director whose work explores human resilience, social justice, and historical reckoning. She received a Peabody Award for Photographer (National Geographic), created with Academy Award–winning filmmakers Jimmy Chin and Chai Vasarhelyi. Her latest feature, Jane Elliott Against the World, will premiere at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival. Previous producing credits include The Price of Freedom (Tribeca 2021; CNN Films), a deep examination of the NRA’s political evolution. Elena made her feature directorial debut with I AM HUMAN, following pioneers of brain–computer interface technology. A trilingual, first-generation Brazilian-American New Yorker, she has spoken at the Conference on World Affairs and now lives in Jackson Heights, Queens, with her husband, Kenneth, and toddler, Diana.
