INFO Buffs' Mission

INFO Buffs' mission is to allow individuals to experience and explore information science at a comfortable entry-level with support from a friendly group of passionate students. Endorsed by the Department of Information Science, we aim to share resources and host events in a casual context that spark interest within the community about data, design, and technology. Our offerings create opportunities for networking, professional development, and academic support. We believe that all Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØstudents—regardless of background—have the potential to learn the fundamental skills and the nuances of this modern field; moreover, we are confident that stronger characters will emerge as a result of our encouragement. INFO Buffs is a university sponsored program.
