Join faculty experts and litigators as they discuss the background and implications of Suncor Energy Inc. v. Boulder County. Among other issues, this case presents the question whether federal law preempts relief under state law for injuries caused by climate change and greenhouse-gas emissions and is set for Oral Argument before the U.S. Supreme Court on Oct. 5, 2026.
