Shadows&Secrets!! A True Story, True Crime Murder Mystery!
Hello!My name is Jennifer So, and I’m the current Executive Director of Insight Colab Theatre. We were previously known as Theatre Esprit Asia (TEA), founded in 2012, we rebranded in 2019. We are Southwest Denver's first and only pan Asian American theatre company. Insight Colab Theatre features plays with non-traditional casting and spotlights inclusive, innovative, and inspiring works to illuminate our shared human experience.
We're producing, Shadows&Secrets by Nancy Wang, a true story, true crime murder mystery. This multi-media whodunit radio play searches for answers! Broadcasted in front of a live studio audience, Mystery Radio Playhouse hopes to solve the cold case of Mr. Chin Foin, famous restaurateur of the Mandarin Inn. It is 1924. A Chicago rainstorm. A flooded basement. Prohibition, fires, tong wars, jealousy, and greed hang in the wet and darkened air. Chin Foin has plunged four floors down the elevator shaft of his own restaurant. Slippery shoes? Or was he pushed?! Ruled an accident, but there are too many suspicious circumstances surrounding his untimely and unexpected death.Ìý His granddaughter hopes to solve the case!
