Less than 8% of the Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØEducation Abroad office expenses are paid by the central campus administration (i.e. from students' tuition & fees). In order to function, Education Abroad charges an administrative fee.ÌýThisÌýfee is essential to fund the operations of Education Abroad, andÌýa portionÌýof the fee is also placed into the Education Abroad scholarship fund. Most study abroad offices at public universities charge similar fees to their students.
- All students studying abroad on Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder approved Education Abroad programs are charged an administrative fee.
- Non-residents are charged an additional differential fee due toÌýColorado law requiringÌýthat non-resident students be charged a higher rate of tuition for credit earned in residency.ÌýWhile non-residents are not paying for Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØtuition during education abroad, they are receiving Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder residence credit for approved Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØEducation Abroad programs.
